Renewals

Transfers

If you wish to transfer your .INFO domain to a different registrar, you'll need an AuthCode or EPP-Key from your current registrar to verify ownership.

Transfers typically take between 5 to 7 days to complete. Some registrars might offer manual transfers that can be accomplished on the same day; you can inquire with your current registrar about this service.

Domain owner change

If you decide to change the ownership of a .INFO domain, both the current and new owners must accept the changes. After the ownership change is complete, the domain is temporarily locked and cannot be transferred for a 60-day period.

Permitted characters / IDN

.INFO domains allow a range of characters, including letters from 'a' to 'z', numbers from '0' to '9', and hyphens '-'. However, a hyphen is not allowed in the first or last position of the domain name, and two consecutive hyphens are not permitted in the 3rd and 4th position. IDN characters are also accepted.
